Last year, my family spent the final week of July at Emerald Isle, NC. Anticipating a future with children living all over the place, I suggested (My husband will say, “insisted”) we rent a house right on the beach to make the week really special.

It was a lazy week of playing cards.

And enjoyed a little site seeing after dinner in Beaufort.
Maybe we shouldn’t be let loose in town!
