Are You Counting Blessings?

Tis’ the season to reminisce on blessings. A popular finance person likes to say, “better than I deserve.” I understand that sentiment when I think of my overflowing blessings.

In this post, I’ll share just a handful of my blessings connected with my writing journey.

Here’s a picture of my friend, Linda Fulkerson. We met years ago when she created digital product for writers. She created all of my book trailers and revamped my website. Then in 2020, she bought Mantle Rock Publishing, created Scrivenings Press, and became my publisher! Now she’s a friend and my boss!

Linda has many talents, and I’m grateful to count her as a dear friend.

I just spent several days in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at ScrivCon, a writing conference with Scrivenings Press.

I taught a class. connected with old friends and met new ones, and learned a lot about writing.

Here I am teaching a class on songwriting–or using lyrics to “sparkle-ize” novel writing.

And look what else happened during the gala!

 

So many blessings, and I haven’t even mentioned my salvation, my family, my friends…
