A running theme for Forever Music is, of course, music, specifically piano music. Josie plays, although she admits not as well as her brothers do, and Ches plays beautifully. All four of our children and I play., and we derive a lot of pleasure from producing music from a keyboard.
Today I’m offering a Youtube video of Ella Ann Holding, a local resident here in Johnston County. Mrs. Holding often shares her talent as do other musicians during a program called The Music for Lunch Bunch, sponsored by the Johnston County Arts Council and the North Carolina Arts Council. A Smithfield church hosts the programs at noon on Wednesdays through the summer months.
This year we’re following guidelines for COVID-19 and not meeting in person. The programs have been recorded and uploaded to Youtube so that many people may experience the beautiful music. In the beginning of today’s video, Myra Wallace of the Arts Council highlights Mrs. Holding’s impressive resume and accolades.
I hope you enjoy the talent of Ella Ann Holding as she plays George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” one of Chopin’s “Etude” and “Ballade,” and finally “Hungarian Rhapsody #12” by Franz Liszt. Listen as she introduces the pieces with descriptions of the music as well as the composers. If you watch the whole way through, you may be surprised by a special guest!

I am new to your books, and am so happy I found them! I read Irish Encounter about a week ago and read Piano Music this past weekend. Here is my issue with both books: Every once in a while I read a book that so engrosses me I have a hard time moving on to a new book. That was the case with Irish Encounter, and even more so with Piano Music. i was planning on starting Rescued Hearts, but instead I’m contemplating just rereading Piano Music. If this (or any of your books) were made into a movie – and I highly recommend it – I would be one of the first to buy a ticket. Thank you, and I look forward to reading your other novels. A very satisfied reader, Sue Warns

Sue, thank you so much for your kind comments! What a wonderful way to begin the day at my laptop. I hope you enjoy Rescued Hearts as much as you did Irish Encounter! Thanks for taking the time to write me!
