For starters, there’s a flying saucer on the town square, and don’t be surprised if you encouter an alien peeking at you from one of the downtown store windows.
The location of Mars PA itself makes it fun – it’s 55 miles southwest of Venus (Pennsylvania), 1875 northeast of Mercury (Nevada), and 925 miles north of Jupiter (Florida). Oh, and it’s 55 million miles (at its closest point) to Mars the planet.

One of the annual highlights is the Mars Apple Fest, held each year on the first Saturday of October. Visitors to the Apple Fest will enjoy food, entertainment, exhibits, crafts, and more.
