I have some pretty cool sons. For several years now, together they’ve sent a dozen roses to their single sisters on Valentine’s Day and on their birthdays. How much do I love this? So much so that it doesn’t bother me that they don’t send me anything. Ha ha. My husband buys flowers for me, so I’m good.
Anyway, I had written the scene in Forever Music when Josie receives flowers from her brothers way before Lane and Quinn worked their good deed. So what I’m saying is, they had the great idea on their own, and I wrote the scene without prompting from their sweet gesture. Great minds, right?
Here’s one of the two bouquets the boys sent this year. Impressive, huh?
Tell me about your fabulous sons or daughters or husbands or friends!

I like that your sons send your single daughters flowers for Valentine’s Day. That’s wonderful! I did wonder while reading how Josie’s brothers did the same if you took that from real life with your sons and daughters. I thoroughly enjoyed Forever Music and wished it wasn’t over when the book ended. Thank you!!

Renee, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so happy you enjoyed Forever Music. I’m working on Ben’s story for a novella collection that’s coming soon!
