Forever Home, my newest novel, is being released today, but it was a long time in coming. I began making notes on this story back in 2018. four years ago! I was excited about Sam and Merritt and managed to write about eight chapters. then…nothing. I couldn’t keep going.
Covid hit, and the world stopped for a while. A lot of creatives blossomed during that time. Not me. I cleaned out closets and tried new recipes. I perfected my sour dough skills, making beautiful loaves every week to the delight of my family. I accomplished a lot, but writing? Nope.
I put the manuscript aside and wrote Ben’s story for a novella collection, Candy Cane Wishes and Saltwater Dreams. Last month, my publisher released A Hatteras Surprise by itself. Follow the link to see the beautiful cover. Finally, I was able to get back to Sam’s story and finished it early this year.
So now we have three books finished in the Forever series. I’ve told the stories of Josie, Ben, and Sam, and I’m working on notes for the last sibling, Heath. These siblings have intrigued me for several years now, and I’m looking forward to learning more about Heath.
I hope you like Sam’s story! Let me know what you think!
