Another Easter is in the books, and wow! It was a doozy!
Here are just the facts:
Fifty-two people attended.
Three to-go plates went out.
Eight children hunted for Easter eggs (plus two adults who will remain nameless, but we know your names!)
Three different languages were spoken (English, French, and Congolese)
Army and Air Force were represented. (Three Army captains, and I’m sorry I didn’t get the rank of the air force people!)
Three preachers attended, but Kevin said the blessing!
We set up five extra tables. Plus, people ate on the back porch.
We welcomed family, friends, and people I’d never met.
We had ages 1 year to 87 1/2 represented.
We served beef, pork, and chicken.
We offered about ten different desserts.
How I feel now:
Exhausted just writing up this blog post. But I’m so blessed to overflowing because my children came home and helped pull it off. Everyone who attended brought something to add to the feast. People enjoyed the afternoon and didn’t feel overwhelmed with the huge celebration.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow that He obeyed His Father’s will and died on the cross for my sins so that we could celebrate Easter today and forever! Hallelujah! He is risen. He is risen indeed! What a Savior!
