We had great Christmas at our house, and I hope you did, too. All four of our children came home for at least a week, plus the new fiancée! Believe me, I completely understand that having all of them home for a whole week isn’t the norm for every family, and I am grateful beyond words for this blessing!
We spent a lot of time eating (no pictures of food because we ate it all) and watching movies and just hanging out around the kitchen table, and we also put together a lot of puzzles like this wooden favorite.
We played a lot of games like Banagrams and Clue and Ticket to Ride (which we call the Train Game.)

We also took a trip to a local Christmas-themed light show/park. This is a picture of us on the train that rode us through the sparkly displays. Sadly, Lane and Ope were in Houston by this time and missed the retro fun.
The lights were fun, but family time is always better! I hope your Christmas was wonderful, and I hope your New Year just keeps getting better!
