Near the beginning of Rescued Hearts, Brett brews hot tea for Mary Wade. An early reader mentioned to me that she couldn’t imagine her husband making tea for her.
Tea may seem like a feminine beverage to some, but I do know men who drink tea. Yes, some of these men do have Irish surnames.
One such man is my son, Quinn. Although he’s a tough Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, he’s not really a fan of coffee. When he studied in Morocco, he learned to pour tea the fancy way it’s done there.
The longer the stream of tea, the more skilled the pour-er is supposed to be. Quinn is doing a pretty good job, I think. Oh, what concentration! Pouring from a distance makes the signature Moroccan mint tea foam. Do you see it?
Here’s an up-close picture of my lovely Moroccan tea pot.
Do you drink tea or coffee or both?
